I’ve been doing some metal sculpture here on Maui in a shop that I set up in Haiku. I don’t get out there as often as I’d like, but I’ve been able to do a few fun projects.

We all had a great time on this trip. Five days on Lake Powell with buddies from all over the country. Thanks again to Zeke Berresford “The Skipper” for putting this trip together.

Sopwith Camel
In Memory of John D. Rinaldi

In 1989 my father took on the challenge of building a full-size Sopwith Camel biplane replica. He worked hard on this project for several years. Unfortunately, he died in 1999, with his project nearly finished.

Three years later, I was fortunate enough to be able to spend the time to finish this airplane in my father’s memory. It now sits at the Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville, Oregon.
