Now its time for the fabric. The fabric that will be on the right side of the airplane has a lacing cord along its entire length. It was a unique feature of this airplane that allowed mechanics to get inside the fuselage quickly just by cutting the lacing cord. Anyway, its time to get out my borrowed sewing machine again and start making seams. It was during this process that I had to figure out how to wind a bobbin!
